FORMS OF COURSE DELVERY
All courses at Study Solutions Australia are delivered to accommodate your lifestyle. Different students prefer to study at home in a self paced atmosphere while others enjoy the company of fellow students with the aid of a professional trainer. Our forms of delivery are as follows:
FACE TO FACE - Classroom (Full Time)
Based at the Easy T Centre Robina, students enjoy the nurturing academic classroom environment with fellow students under the guidance of our experienced child care teachers while performing their industry experience (field placement) at a Smarter Kids Kindergarten or designated centre. This enables students without any previous child care experience to enjoy the diversity of classroom theory with practical industry experience. The classes have a low teacher to student ratio and equip students to be industry ready on completion of their qualification. These classes suit recent school leavers of those seeking a change in career path and enjoy the added benefits of a supportive classroom environment.
• Current year 10 and 11 Secondary School students – 1 day a week at the College
• School leavers
• Career Change
DISTANCE LEARNING– (Self Paced Delivery and Assessment)
Due to lifestyle commitments, many students do not have the time to attend classes or prefer to complete study in their own time in the comfort of their home. Flexible delivery is completed a unit at a time. The Certificate III in Children’s services consists of 15 units and can be purchase as an entire course or completed one unit at a time. Students receive all course unit resources by e-mail or post, study the content and complete the exercises. The exercises are sent back to the college teachers for assessing. Once completed the student then completes the next course unit.
All our flexible learning students have the benefit of receiving:
• Professional trainer support
• Workplace assessments on site (current place of employment)
• Field training and assessing at Smarter Kids Kindergartens and Preschools
WORK PLACE COURSE - Field Placement
For students currently employed in the child care industry they can choose to complete further study through a traineeship or apprenticeship. The student will be assigned a teacher from the College to support their study progress and assess their workplace tasks (field placement). Each student must have an allocated qualified supervisor in their workplace to provide student support and feedback to the college teacher. This form of education allows students to still earn an income while heading towards further qualifications. Although the course is delivered via the flexible delivery method, students don’t have to leave their job to study and may be entitled to receive funding through a traineeship or apprenticeship scheme.
